The Food was excellent. My family was a little early for the dinner rush so we had the restaurant to ourselves. It was a nice and peaceful place to eat. I highly recommend this place. We had the Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box, Kirin Happy Family, and the Honey Walnut Shrimp. There was a long wait between our order arrival so next time I would specifically ask that all food is brought out at one time.

This is the tastiest Chinese restaurant I've found in the Eugene / Springfield area! Tbh though, that is a low bar, and it really depends on what you get. The lunch specials are a great deal, and the portions are really big on the dinner menu. Biggest negative is the dining area itself. We've been here quit a few times and there's always dirty tables. Not like one or two but 10+ tables that are dirty when we walk in and dirty when we leave. It's just kind of unappetizing to eat right next to so many dirty tables. But I think it's worth it for the food.

I love Chinese food and Kirin City is hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant and tops them all in my opinion. So welcoming and exceptional service. My first visit I went with my husband and mother-in-law and I have been back three more times. Lunch special runs M-F 10:30 am to 3:00 pm. Take your family or get takeout, I promise you will not be disappointed! Update 9/7/22** Since my first review this is mine and my families go to place for Chinese food, it's just that good and honestly no other Chinese Restaurant competes in my opinion. Kirin is just too good.

Food was incredibly good. Everyone loved their food. Sweet and Sour Pork, Rice noodles with barbecue pork, Gyoza was amazing, the Mongolian beef was delicious. The egg rolls were the best I ever had. Bento box with chicken katsu was wonderful.

Very good. Fried noodle was awesome, sushi, egg flower soup, and sesame chicken were all fresh amd delish! Will be going back!

I was visiting my parents from out of state and we ate here for dinner. It's a family owned restaurant. One of the young girls serving, might be one of the daughters, has airpods in and very obviously does not want to be there. Blantantly showed her moodiness and annoyance as soon as we walked in the door. There were only one other group eating at the time, therefore they were not busy. She then slammed the cups and water glasses down and rolled her eyes as my parents kindly ordered. I'm not really sure what her problem was, and she might be going through something in her private life, however it does not excuse her rudeness. My parents are the sweetest people and I did not appreciate this girl being so disrespectful toward them. Her aweful behavior made the somewhat decent meal seem mediocre. If you want to enjoy a peaceful meal, and are sensitive to other people's attitudes, this will not be a good place to go.

Came in for a delivery and no one greeted me or asked what I was there for. I proceeded to ask a gentleman who was working at the front "who do I let know that I'm here for" he replied very short and rude, "not done yet" I said okay thanks. Definitely need to work on there people skills.
